Bleach Filler List: Best Bleach Anime Filler Episodes Guide

Friends, Bleach is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. Bleach is a 200+ manga series (which evolved into anime series) that follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki.

Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper (Shinigami), which is similar to the Grim Reaper in American culture. Ichigo becomes a soul reaper when he gains the powers from Rukia Kuchiki. Accepting the task of becoming a soul reaper asks that Ichigo defend humans from evil spirits and push them into the afterlife.

As a Japanese manga, Bleach was collected into 58 volumes. Better known as Tankobon volumes, each book has a poem that discusses the character placed on the cover.

Bleach, an anime about soul reapers and magical battles, has one extremely disappointing element in its filler episodes.

Should I watch Bleach? If so, should I skip the filler?

Yes 👍.

It would be best to watch it since the new Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation will come.

Even without that, you should watch it (and read the manga too).

Bleach has an amazing story filled with side characters and all that jazz.

I praise one of their arcs (or dickrides) in this answer, which you should check out. Joseph Elixar’s answer to What makes the Soul Society arc of Bleach so amazing?

But most of those praises apply to the later arcs too.

The main character, Ichigo, is a unique Shonan protagonist and a great one at that.

His desire in the show is to protect, and unlike other characters in Shonan that have simple goals, his goals are more believable.

You are not only getting a pretty good MC in the show, but you also get great side characters like Sado and Uryu.

It’s a good show that I recommend to anyone who likes Shonan.

Now, should you skip filler?

Yes, but then again, no.

Skip the actual bad filler; the filler is like the Bount arc.

Arcs like these do nothing but waste your time; they’re not enjoyable and should easily be skipped.

But.

There are great fillers like the Gotei 13 Invading Army arc.

These filters are fucking amazing, and for a filler arc, they are probably one of the best I’ve seen.

So if you should skip a filler, skip the filler like the Bount arc but don’t skip the Gotei 13 Invading Army arc filler, as that’s a dope filler with great animation.

Those are my thoughts; I hope you enjoyed it!

Is bleach good? I want to watch it; I am like 4 episodes in, but I am debating if I should keep going.

It is good; it was one of the big 3, including Naruto and One Piece. However, it is slow to start; it only got interesting around episode 30 or so in the Soul Society arc.

That’s when the real badass characters, concepts, and battles start getting introduced, like the captains and so on, and that’s when you understand the power scaling.

Which fillers in Bleach are worth watching?

Actually, Bleach has the best fillers of all the anime with fillers. The Bount arc, the Zanpakuto arc, and the fake Gotei 13 arc are all interesting filler arcs.

And my favorite of all is Zanpakuto Arc. We can see a lot of Zanpakuto’s original form and their inner monologue. And there are also not that many episodes.

If we compare Bleach’s fillers with Naruto or One Piece, you will understand the greatness of Bleach’s fillers. One Piece has a small number of filler episodes between arcs that are completely irrelevant to the story. Sometimes you get flashback episodes for weeks. And Naruto’s fillers are even worse. They have a bad story and slow pacing. Compared to these, Bleach’s fillers are way better.

Which Bleach filler to skip?

the Bount Arc

The one filler arc that should definitely be skipped is the Bount Arc due to its excessive length, lack of engaging characters, and how much it messes with the pacing of the anime. If there’s any filler that should definitely be watched, however, it’s the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc.

Is there a filler arc in Bleach?

Although the Thousand-Year Blood War arc will contain 52 episodes and zero filler, there are several Bleach filler arcs as well as individual filler episodes scattered throughout the story.

Is Bleach 227 filler?

Compactly, the fillers are: 33, 50, 64-109, 128-137, 147-149, 168-189, 204-205, 213-214, 227-266, 287, 298-299, 303-305, 311-342, 355. In more detail: Episode 33 Miracle! The Mysterious New Hero (奇跡!謎の新ヒーロー) (based on “Karakura Heros” Omake 1).

Can you skip the Bount arc in Bleach?

The Bount arc is a filler arc. All of the episodes in this arc are filler episodes, so they are safe to skip.

What, if any, Bleach filler episodes should I watch (only on EP 13, so don’t spoil anything)?

Episode 13, meaning that you were around when Inoue learned about her powers?

So, future filler arcs to watch:

First, I’d suggest avoiding the filler arcs at all costs, including the Bounto arcs. Both of them. All of the episodes are 64–109. It doesn’t contribute anything to the main story; it just gives a bad taste to the whole experience. It will confuse you rather than entertain you.

Next is the New Captain arc about Shuusuke Amagai, which is also suggested against watching (episodes 168–189), though it is stronger than the Bounto arcs. It gives a false sense of the past of a certain important person.

However, the Zanpakutou, The Alternate Tale arc, is a recommended filler arc (episodes 230–265). It’s exciting to see new things in Bleach, not just because they’re new, but because they exist under Tite Kubo’s supervision (or, at least, the arc is made with his knowledge and blessings). So you will see new things and can be quite sure that these are the real thing. Not quite canon, but close enough to enjoy.

Trivia: Did you know that there’s Chapter 0? I’ll let you look for it yourself. It’s Bleach and Canon (written and drawn by Tite Kubo himself), but it’s completely different from the main story.

Which anime has the most fillers?

Boruto: Naruto’s next generation.

Surprised? Shocked?

This innocent anime has 26 episodes, of which only 3 are canon. Seriously. Even though they didn’t feel like fillers.

Like father like son.

Hell, it even applies to the other main characters.

Why is the anime Bleach called Bleach?

Reason number one is that shinigami “cleanse” souls, similar to what Bleach does (Kubo mentioned this in an interview, but it’s unclear whether he noticed this before or after deciding on the name). He uses it as a metaphor

because Kubo is a fan of the band Nirvana, and their first album is Bleach.

Reason 3 The title wasn’t Bleach when Tite Kubo decided to draw a story about Shinigami. It was before he drew the one-shot manga that appeared in Akamaru Jump. The weapon wasn’t a sword, but a scythe. This means Rukia would have looked like this

Only Rukia had a scythe, and the other characters used guns. At that point, the title was Snipe (as in “Sniper”). and the rest of the soul reapers would have looked stark

Right before he started drawing, he thought a sword would be better and realized he couldn’t use Snipe as a title. He began looking for a title that grasped the bigger picture. Shinigami are associated with the color black, but it would have been boring to use “black.” “White,” on the other hand, can suggest black as a complementary color. So Tite Kubo chose “Bleach” to evoke the impression of the color white.

Why does Bleach have 366 episodes but only one season?

Who said Bleach only had one season?

How long will it take to watch the the Bleach anime?

Bleach has 366 episodes, each
the episode with an actual runtime of almost 19 mins. Almost 50% of these episodes are fillers (if you are new to anime, a filler episode means an episode that does not have a direct link to the main storyline).
Mathematically, if you watch the entire series at 4 hours a day – it will take you almost 4 months if you exclude the fillers, maybe around 2 months.
However, once you start watching it, you will have to be extra disciplined to watch only 4 hours a day. I finished it off in almost 20 days.
If you haven’t watched it already, you should start RIGHT NOW.
